Meneghin Signs NHL Contract with Tampa

Former CSSHL student-athlete Harrison Meneghin has signed an NHL Entry Level Contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Lightning selected the South Surrey, BC netminder in the seventh round, 206th overall at the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.

Meneghin spent four seasons in the CSSHL with Delta Hockey Academy.He would join the program in 2017/18, going 13-0-0 with a 1.97 GAA and .907SV% in 16 U15 games. The following U15 Prep season he posted a 12-3-0 record with 1 shutout, a 3.34 GAA and .899 SV%. He would make the jump to the Delta U18 Prep team in 2020/21, and spend the 2021/22 season with the team as well, going 8-11-1 with a .908 SV%, 3.97 GAA and 1 shutout.

Undrafted to the WHL, Meneghin would sign with the Lethbridge Hurricanes, joining the team full time for the 2022/23 season. He would play two full season with the Hurricanes and start the 2024/25 season with them before being traded to the Medicine Hat Tigers.

With the Tigers this season he would go 23-9-2 with a .901 SV%, 2.56 GAA, and 3 shutouts. Meneghin would then go 14-1-0 with 3 shutouts, a .906 SV% and 2.35 GAA to capture the WHL Playoff MVP as the Tigers were crowned WHL Champions.
